It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation.     Service was great, food was amazing ! Unsure why there wasn’t more people in there on a Saturday night. Went at Christmas time as well and same experience. The crab dip and cream of crab was my favorite. Brownies Sunday was delicious!

    Always a pleasure to be at this venue. Decorated beautifully and the food never disappoints. They were very busy with a private party and a ton of reservations but decided to also accommodate an 11 top that had no reservation. That kind of jammed up the works a good bit as those who made reservations were a tad challenged. Not sure why folks think they can just walk in to a venue, especially this time of year, with no reservations, which is disrespectful to those who do but it’s 2024. Nothing really shocks me anymore. But no complaints at all. Kudos to the staff that worked hard to ensure everyone had the best experience.

    Made a reservation for six. There was no wait when we arrived. The meals were prepared and delivered timely. The meals were also very good and a good value. Server was very nice.
