Restaurants near Culloden Battlefield

Our first time at this restaurant, very relaxed atmosphere, no need to dress up. Food and drinks are amazing, something a pit different. The staff are helpful and the whole atmosphere gives a chilled vibe. The alcoholic shakes were different and something that absolutely needs to be tried!

I had heard many good things about this place that my wife and I decided to visit. From the warm welcome, attentive service, quality and taste of the food, it was a superb experience. Highly recommended and we will be back and soon.

Solid 5 stars all round, Norman and his team were so welcoming and the food was first class. 3rd of January and the restaurant was full but service and food were top level. Great choice on the menu and the fillet steak was phenomenal. Definitely should be on everyone’s dining list if looking for a top quality experience In Inverness. Well done everyone at Cafe 1

Visited (pre-booked) on Sunday (22nd) evening at 7.00 and ate from Festive Menu. Good choice and a couple of specials on the board as well. Two of us started with the seafood platter which had generous portions of different seafood. Might have benefited from a Marie rose sauce to add some moisture. Our daughter enjoyed the breaded brie. We all had the turkey main course which had a good helping of turkey, potatoes, veg and trimmings. And we all finished with the Jammie Dodger blondie - tasty! Good selection of drinks available. Only slight downside was that it was so quiet - only one other table occupied! Overall a good experience. We've been before - and we'll be back.
