Restaurants near Curu National Wildlife Refuge

This is our favorite restaurant, hands down. We were in for Valentine’s Day, so the restaurant was busier than usual. Food and wine were impeccable, as always. Our out of town guests agreed, on how wonderful the restaurant is. We started with the beets, a salad and the octopus. The ladies all had the trout, which was cooked to perfection. Two others had the short ribs, which they thoroughly enjoyed. I snuck a bite, and will be ordering it next time I visit. All in all, an amazing meal.

Our meal was delicious. Fresh, vibrant and robust flavours. I had never been to Nosara before and noticed a guy in the restaurant who seemed to be very friendly, joy-full and chatty. I asked him what he knew about the area in general and he turned out to be on of the owners of the restaurant and hotel ! He offered us a tour and great hospitality. The entire meal and visit to Nosara certainly gave us a great impression of Nosara and Sandero kitchen & hotel.

Amazing food experience lead by a great chef. Food quality, history, complete with great story telling and presentation. A restaurant and meal not to be missed.

If your use to a traditional steakhouse this place is not for you. It is basically an extension of the golf facility that includes a bar and of course a dining area. We are not steak snobs but the filet clearly dis not meet expectations. Although it had a robust flavor it was tough to cut and chew for both my wife and I.

Excellent food and service. A little expensive, but worth it for the views.
