- SSheletteEast Texas •24 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe visited to celebrate the man’s birthday. We arrived early since we planned to visit a couple of other places afterward. When we got there, it was fairly empty, but it didn’t stay that way for long. The space is really spacious. We dined in the main dining room, and the service was excellent. The host, servers, and manager were all very friendly. For appetizers, we ordered the wagyu pigs in a blanket and pepperoni and sausage pizza. I had a shot of tequila, while the man enjoyed an Old Fashioned and an IPA. The appetizers were delicious. I couldn’t decide if I liked the honey mustard crème sauce that came with the pigs in a blanket, but I definitely enjoyed them without the sauce. For our main dishes, we had the roasted salmon and steak frites. The salmon had a perfectly crispy top layer and was cooked to a perfect medium. It was delicious! It came with butternut squash farro, which I wasn’t sure how I felt about, but it was interesting. The steak frites were flavorful and also cooked to a perfect medium. Very tasty. Unfortunately, we had no room left for dessert. We spent about $190, including the tip. After we paid, we went to check out the rooftop. It was stunning—spacious, with tables and seating perfectly arranged to showcase the beautiful city skyline and lights. We grabbed two more drinks at the bar and soaked in the view, spending another $35 with tip. We would definitely return and plan to opt for rooftop dining next time. Highly recommend!More infoCulinary Dropout – DallasPrice: Moderate• American• Design District•4.5
- KKellyDallas - Fort Worth •11 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWife wanted to go to Al Biernat's for our 24th anniversary, and it was exceptional. We were greeted at the door and shown to our table immediately. Our server took great care of us and checked in often to ensure we were well taken care of. My wife had the filet and it was extremely delicious and tender, and my surf and turf did not disappoint. The sides were delicious and there was enough to satisfy any appetite. I found it to be well worth the price and a great overall value and experience.More infoAl Biernat's - Oak LawnPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Turtle Creek / Oak Lawn•4.9

The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. The menu offered a perfect mix of traditional and contemporary Mexican dishes, and every bite was bursting with authentic flavors. The freshly made guacamole was the best I’ve ever had, and the carne asada tacos were cooked to perfection. The margaritas were equally impressive, with a variety of creative options alongside the classic ones. The bartender really knows their craft! Overall, The Mexican delivers an amazing combination of excellent food, drinks, and hospitality. It’s a must-visit spot for anyone craving Mexican cuisine. I’ll definitely be returning soon!More infoThe MexicanPrice: Very Expensive• Mexican• Design District•4.7

And the mash potatoes were dry and hard… The quality of food should be the same as how you present all the cuts of steaks.. especially for the price point!!!More infoNick & Sam's SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Uptown•4.6
