The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor.     Friends and I went to the Pajama Brunch on New Years Day at the White Dog Cafe in Chester Springs. This is the first that I have been to this new White Dog. It is wonderful. It has tons of character and many small rooms. They have retained the country charm of the old home. The food is always excellent. My two friends had the specials, which were yummy. The waffles with fruit compote and syrup with a taste of coffee were delicious. I recommend White Dog for a terrific dining experience.

    Outstanding service. Our server, Ina, was exceptional. Her knowledge of menu items and wine pairings was extremely helpful in deciding what to order. Her friendly personality and demeanor made our visit a most enjoyable experience.

    The renovations to the bar were worth the wait- The space is very warm and inviting! They had a wonderful piano player that complimented the ambiance as well. We were pleased with the unique choices on the menu, and very satisfied with our meals. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and attentive, and when my husband mentioned it was my birthday, she offered us a free dessert! As if that wasn’t surprise enough, I got a card signed by everyone on the staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our night and definitely plan on returning soon!
