Enjoyed a delicious anniversary dinner last night at Byrd and Baldwin! It was our third time visiting and does not disappoint. We shared the crab cake appetizer and each had the fillet mignon. The crab cake had minimal filler (if any) and the steaks were tender and cooked perfectly. This is a go to place for a special evening out!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted and seated at our table on time at 5:15pm Our server was very polite and accommodating with answering questions and giving us recommendations. She served us our appetizers and meals at a good temperature. We didn't feel rushed or bothered in any way, as this was a Friday evening and very busy, we were shielded from all the hustle and bustle. Our table was well set and clean tableware greeted us. The lighting for ambiance might have been a little too low, as it made it a little difficult to read the menu. So thank you for asking and we will use Admiral's Steak and Seafood again.

I want to thank Saltine for coming to the rescue after my Christmas was almost ruined! My stepdad took us to another place because his hairdresser recommended it, but when we discovered that it was a buffet, we noped it out of there. So, my mom asked me to find another place, and I stumbled upon Saltine. When I told my mom about the prime rib dinner (good lord, it’s delicious), she and my stepdad agreed to go. Good thing we picked this place because as soon as we pulled up to the Hilton, we were impressed! Luckily, the wait wasn’t too long and we were seated right away. Though, I felt sorry for the lobsters in the tank. Anyway, we got seated in a pretty comfortable booth/chair area and we had Destiny as our server (she was awesome). My mother and I went with her recommendation of the Christmas dinner and the she crab soup! The prime rib came out ridiculously fast and right behind the soup! I didn’t have to ask how I wanted it cooked because it was as if the chefs read my mind and knew that I wanted it medium rare. The potato puree, root veggies, au jus, and horseradish sauce complemented the prime slice of ambrosia on my plate. Oh! And the plum toffee pudding! It’s probably the best I’ve ever tasted! All of it was house made, the toffee tasted just like Golden Grahams without the weird preservatives, and it was so good that it deserves its own paragraph on here. That and the darkening of the restaurant was the crescendo of the wonderful evening! It went perfectly with the elegant and chic Christmas decorations! Saltine saved my Christmas and I want to thank them for it! I hope to make their prime rib dinner into a new Christmas tradition. Thank you so much, Saltine! Lots of chef’s kisses!

The food and atmosphere was amazing. Great place to celebrate or simply have lunch or dinner.

Really enjoyed the evening, if the managers hadn’t handled the situation so well for us the rating would have been much different. We had a 7pm reservation and There was not one there to help us get started so around 715 we went to the bar downstairs and they got someone to help us. We had a great time playing, our server was wonderful and we had the chicken club sandwich which was delicious! They had men’s and women’s Titleist clubs and the simulator was awesome! At the end of our time the computer systems weren’t working so we spent about a half an hour with various managers trying to get it to work but they took really good care of us during the time and made what could have been a very frustrating situation much better. Will definitely be going back again.
