The fish boil kettle is brought to a boil over an open fire… when the fish is cooked to perfection, a small amount of kerosene is poured into the base of the fire. The result? A spectacular burst of flames and the famous boil-over that leaves the food ready to be immediately served at your table inside the restaurant.     Service and food was outstanding with generous portions. Salmon was done perfectly and served with multi colored carrots. Risotto was also very good along with asparagus and grilled chicken. Several fireplaces in view created a nice warm atmosphere. Highly recommend for a special occasion!

    One of the best restaurants in Door County. The food is always delicious and the service is above par. The menu is not huge but everything wonderfully cooked, served hot and the plates arrive attractively dished. We ordered Chicken Masala and the 8oz Filet. Both dishes were completely consumed and we would have licked the plates if decorum allowed! Highly recommended.

    We had a lovely dinner at LURE! It was my mother’s birthday. We had asked for a round table for 6 and that is exactly what was set up. The food was fresh (fish) and delicious! Our server was really friendly, prompt, and seemed to like her job. Everyone had a nice dinner, and the deserts were fabulous THANK YOU!
