- SStacyNewcastle and Northumberland •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoLovely food as always! Never quite understand, when the place is empty why they sit people on the table right next to you... tables are quite close together, I'd prefer at least a table away when there's lots of empty tables! ... but great food, fast service 👌More infoFiumePrice: Moderate• Italian• Washington•4.2

- SSuzanneNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoSecond time I have dined here, but the first for Sunday Lunch and it was fabulous yet again! Service is very efficient and yet friendly. Menu has plenty of choice. I am vegetarian and it is one of the BEST Sunday Lunches I have had, so tasty! My Son had the Turkey and my Mam the Lamb, both cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were big, good selection of well cooked vegetables. The Yorkshire puddings were enormous and the gravy was delicious. We were too full to manage a dessert and thankfully we didn't have a starter. We were well looked after and will definitely be returning.More infoEmberPrice: Moderate• Modern European• Sunderland•4.8

- MMikeNewcastle and Northumberland •5 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024I had Christmas lunch (on my own). I had my choice of gluten free prawn cocktail starter, steak and chips with vegetables and a gluten free chocolate brownie dessert. Everything was delicious and perfect in every way possible. The chef cooked the steak exactly right. Service was great (no fuss) and the atmosphere for the day was great too - yes a few noisy children, but it was Christmas Day and actually it was quite nice having families! I have eaten in top restaurants around the world and I know my food and wine, and on balance (whilst not Michelin star - I wouldn’t’ve gone if it was) this was really very enjoyable. I had a lovely lunch and will go again. I went for a short walk along the river afterwards and it was just so pleasant. Thank you everyone so much.More infoHavelock ArmsPrice: Moderate• Pub• Washington•4.2
