A sophisticated restaurant, with a large balcony overlooking the lush green of Brighton Lakes. There is something for everyone at The Pavilion Restaurant.In the late 1920s, a group of golfers created the North Brighton Golf Club on the opposite side of the Cooks River to Sydney Airport, using a tin shed on the course as a clubhouse and paying two shillings in rent to the landowner for their 18 holes.The rapid growth of international air transport after WWII meant major runway extensions that eventually forced the Club to find a new home, and in 1950 a new site in Milperra was found, and the New Brighton Golf Club was formed.In 1979, the Club had part of the course resumed to make way for the building of the M5 Motorway. Construction of four new replacement golf holes commenced in June 1980, with players teeing off from 1982. The necessary redesign of the layout enabled New Brighton to attain Group One status.

The Basement Brewhouse situated in Bankstown Sports Club features it’s own microbrewery specialising in craft beer that’s brewed in-house and offers a wide variety of craft beers within Australia and around the world. Featuring 30 taps, we offer a wide range of craft beer, ciders, wine and tap cocktails. Throughout the year we have 10-13 Basement Brewhouse beers available on tap, all of which are brewed on site. Two of our most popular beers features our famous Kolsch and Pale Ale. The Basement Brewhouse features our very own Burger Bar that serves up award winning burgers, hotdogs, fries and our delicious gourmet meat and cheese boards. We were a family group and greeted with smiles and the two children no problem. Our waiter was very helpful and informative about the food we did not know. The food was delicious - we ordered too much!

Great food and amazing service. Food came out quickly and was reasonably priced, staff were great and the kids loved the outdoor play area.

We have been to this restaurant several times, the food and experience is amazing, my only grudge would be that it is sometimes difficult to order drinks.
