- AAlyseVancouver / British Columbia •4 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024I am very fussy about my dining experiences. It has to be value for money while also satisfying my need for service quality and gorgeous food. Wow! Courtney room is my new favorite restaurant. The room is beautiful and the service friendly and oh so professional. The food is beautiful and focused on local sourcing. That crab ravioli and focaccia bread. I could eat it every day. So well done! Magnolia Hotel is a lovely place to stay to enjoy a complete night out.More infoThe Courtney RoomPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Canadian• Victoria•4.5

Just didn’t seem to pair up with each other …but that’s just my opinion 😁Overall great experience and we will continue to dine there 👌🏻More infoBoom + BattenPrice: Expensive• Regional American (Northwest)• Victoria•4.6
- DDeborah KVancouver / British Columbia •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024I'm both vegetarian and celiac and you would think I'd have trouble dining here but a true thing is that if a restaurant WANTS you to have a good experience, you can and will. I was accommodated easily by ordering a la carte from what I could see was available. Fresh grilled asparagus, a baked potato and scrumptious grilled brussels sprouts! My friend never cleans her plates and her Dilled Salmon with asparagus and garlic fried rice and asparagus were fully enjoys with a tiny amount to take home with a few sprouts. We had a great time.More infoHouse Of Seven BrothersPrice: Moderate• Regional American (Northwest)• Sequim•4.5
- CCaroleVancouver / British Columbia •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024We went to Glo for an early Christmas Eve dinner and it was lovely. The ambiance in the restaurant for the season was beautiful. Our waiter was knowledgeable and very personable. There were three of us, all ordering a different entree and all three were very good and beautifully presented. We all ordered dessert and they too were delicious. I personally ordered the bread pudding and it was the best I have ever tasted - I am still talking about that bread pudding! All in all it was exactly the experience we had hoped to have for Christmas Eve.More infoGlo Restaurant + LoungePrice: Moderate• Regional American (Northwest)• Victoria•4.6
- VVickiSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 5, 2024The food and service were excellent. The only complaint I have is that the lights were WAY too bright. When one has an evening meal in a lovely setting - it shouldn't be necessary to wear a ball cap so the lights don't glare in your eyes. Besides the regular hanging lights which were pretty bright - there were can-lights in the ceiling with very strong bulbs in them. This really ruined the ambience. Made it feel more like we were dining in a cafeteria instead of a steakhouse. All - in all, that is the ONLY thing that made this meal deviate from being absolutely perfect. The chef even made my salmon well done - as I requested. (I know they don't normally appreciate cooking something differently than what is considered proper.) But, I REALLY appreciated that. The calamari were excellent - fresh and tender. My 'extra dirty' martini was even perfect. This is our go-to place for bringing out of town guests because we know the food and location make it a very special place to eat.More infoDouble Eagle Steak and SeafoodPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Sequim•4.8
