This was our first time at Mono Cliffs Inn even though we've been locals for 5 years. We were very impressed. The quaint but beautifully cozy dining room was both rustic and elegant. The food was fantastic (short ribs off main menu and steak fries on special were both delicious). We enjoyed the brownie and cappuccino for dessert. The staff wer3 friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

This is one of our favourite restaurants in the Simcoe area. We've now been a few times, and every time, the food has been fantastic, the service has been great, and the ambience is perfect for a romantic Friday night (or whatever reason you're there). We always go on Fridays since there is live music, which is just the right mix of background music and entertainment. I had the Chicken Parmigiana during our last visit and the portion was so large, I joked with the server that I must have accidentally ordered the extra large, and they gave me a turkey breast instead of a chicken breast. My wife loved the Fig and Brie pizza. We'll be back. Again and again.

There were three of us. The only issue was that our meals were coolish. The restaurant was not busy so we found this strange. I personally had a meal that I order all the time at Montanas (the chicken burrito bowl). It was served on a plate because our waiter said that they were out of bowls (even though the restaurant was quiet). The dish was cool and overall not very good compared to what I am used to.
