- LLeevipAustin •25 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoLoved it again - we visit each time we’re in the City. This was an anniversary, and the food was even more amazing than ever. Lovely salads, scallopini, three pastas on one plate, Chianti and Champagne. Dessert took the entire experience over the top - tartuffo !! Would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys REAL Italian food.More infoIl CantinoriPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• East Village•4.8
- MMitchellvipNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWhat a special night. My wife and I were celebrating an anniversary and we were looking for something with great food and a cool vibe. Cathedral didn’t disappoint with either. What an incredible space there’s nothing like it in the city. And the food was awesome. He started with the Epe baguette which was the best bread I’ve had in years and the drippings and butter were wow! We then had a famous potato chip omelette with caviar which was delicious and a real treat. We also shared the lobster salad, which was fantastic. We had a lot of trouble settling on our main, but we opted because it was a special occasion for bouliabase for 2 . It was served table side, and it was absolutely mind blowing ; all the fish were delicious and the broth and special croutons really unique. We also had a great bottle of reasonably priced Amarone recommended by Sommelier . We will definitely be back soon and not waiting for a special occasion.More infoCathédralePrice: Expensive• French• East Village•4.4

There was a group of us, and the reservation needed to be modified several times, due to additions and cancellations. The staff at The Smith was so pleasant and accommodating each time I had to contact the restaurant. They could not have been nicer. And the Thanksgiving dinner was great. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Such a nice experience!More infoThe Smith - East VillagePrice: Moderate• American• East Village•4.7
