- WWyattCalifornia Central Coast •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe celebrated our 21 year anniversary, they gave us personalized menus and our server was wonderful. Everything was delicious but the Chilean Sea Bass is phenomenal. You are packed in close to others and we had a fantastic time listening to the unfiltered conversations around us. A mix between Seinfeld and The Golden Girls. If you stay locally let your hotel know where you are dining and they might have an appetizer coupon for you.More infoChart House Restaurant - MontereyPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Monterey•4.4

- SSophiaPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWas on a solo trip and felt very comfortable going as a solo diner here. Ambiance was lovely. The staff was professional and helpful in me choosing my food and drink options! I kind of went all out on the ordering since everything looked so good and I got the crudo, bisque, potatoes, and American wagyu. I particularly loved the fact how incredibly fresh and melt in your mouth the fish was. The avocado mousse mixed really well with it. The crema on the potatoes was lovely and the potatoes were flavorful and piping hot which was amazing. I enjoyed the chili oil addition to the bisque and that was also served in a very hot bowl which was preferred to me because I hate food that gets even a little bit cold and I loved that. The wagyu was of course cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Not a huge of sun chokes but that’s just my personal preference as I have never really like them. Overall, wonderful experience and would go againMore infoStokes Adobe RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Californian• Monterey•4.8
- LLauraSan Francisco Bay Area •43 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024We absolutely know we will be treated like royalty when we visit Old Fisherman’s Grotto. Once again they delivered. Sal made us feel like family. We started with calamari and artichokes with a nice drink from the bar. The calamari was crispy with the sauces adding a bit of excitement to each bite. The artichoke was creamy and rich. Bread and butter was served. We felt relaxed and never in a hurry. After the appetizer we put in the order for dinner, double lobster tails for him and 1/2 crab, salmon and grilled shrimp for me. We were both so happy with our meals. Dessert was the cherry on top, ollalieberry pie a la mode for him and and beautiful chocolate and vanilla cake with strawberries for me. Our water was constantly refilled. The view of the harbor was also very relaxing. I can’t wait until we are in town again to enjoy the hospitality once again.More infoOld Fisherman's GrottoPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Monterey•4.8
