From the moment you step into the elegant setting, you’re greeted with breathtaking views of the New York City skyline and an ambiance that radiates sophistication. The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a perfect balance of seasonal flavors and timeless classics. I highly recommend the filet mignon, which was cooked to absolute perfection, and the lobster bisque, which was rich and flavorful. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable—attentive, professional, and warm. Our server ensured every detail of our dining experience was flawless, enhancing the evening. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in an upscale dinner, The Highlawn is the perfect destination. It’s an unforgettable culinary experience that truly elevates dining. I can’t wait to return!More infoThe HighlawnPrice: Expensive• American• West Orange•4.4
- JjohnNew York City •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFornos is a go-to in Newark for a nice occasion. The staff is always friendly and professional, the atmosphere is wonderful - elegant but not stuffy/pretentious, and the food is exceptional. The selections are a challenge - in that there are too many good options; the flavor is wonderful, and you're usually taking some home, as the portions are generous. Then there are sides that come with the meal, along with the salad - plentiful. It's always a wonderful experience.More infoFornos of SpainPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Newark•4.7
- RROBINNew York City •1034 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWait staff seated us immediately and menus were provided. We loved the wild mushroom soup special which was creamy and very savory. Tre colore salad was wonderful and dressed perfectly. Our calamari was too heavily breaded and a tad overdone. The marinara, that accompanied the calamari, was bright and flavorful, although I like it spicy so I added some hot pepper flakes. I really enjoyed my scallops, Sicilian style, with capers and olives in a white wine sauce. My request for spinach instead of pasta was immediately granted. I truly appreciated that. My husband felt the rack of lamb was just okay. The cappuccino gelato had a strange texture, kind of gummy like it was dried out. The chocolate gelato texture was fine and had a nice flavor.More infoGiorgio's Ristorante - South OrangePrice: Expensive• Italian• South Orange•4.9
