Over his many years in Oaxaca, TJ cultivated relationships with local craftsmen, artists, mezcaleros, cooks and farmers throughout the region. Claro is dedicated to making everything by hand, including the masa, cheeses, chorizo and moles.     We came in tonight for my sister’s birthday. We actually came here for the first time a year ago for her last birthday and have been back so many times since! The food is on point and it is super consistent; Every visit it tastes exactly right. Guacamole, Arabic tacos, brisket tacos, fish tacos, birria, and the torta were the stars of the show! And always are. I know that’s a lot, but it’s true. They’re always delicious. Their special marg & every other drink was delicious too, never too sweet, always balanced. Thanks again, Chela! We’ll be back for sure.

    This place is such a gem - from the moment you get to the door, you can tell Cafe Mars is not your typical restaurant. The decor is colorful and vibrant; it just screams "walk in here and get ready to have a great time". The staff are warm, entertaining, and knowledgeable. I have had nothing but 10/10 service on all of my visits here. And of course, the food is fantastic. Chef Paul truly works wonders here. Run, don't walk to Cafe Mars!
