From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, kind service that made us feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable, and their attentiveness truly stood out. The highlight of our visit, without a doubt, was the breathtaking view. Overlooking the historic Zócalo, the panoramic vista of Mexico City's iconic landmarks was simply mesmerizing. Whether we were enjoying a meal or simply sipping on a drink, the view added an unforgettable touch to every moment. We spent the day exploring the historic center of the city, soaking in its rich culture and vibrant energy, and Balcón del Zócalo was the perfect way to cap off our adventure. The combination of delicious food, exceptional service, and that incredible view made it an experience we’ll cherish. We can’t wait to return and relive this amazing experience. Balcón del Zócalo is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy the heart of Mexico City in style. - CCarolineVIPLos Angeles •16 reviews4.0Dined on Feb 4, 2025We loved the novelty of dining in a sacred cave and found the menu intriguing and appealing. Unusual flavor combinations and very fresh. Helpful to have the menu in English as well as Spanish. The service was less satisfactory. The food came out almost all at once -- which felt rushed, and the drinks came out later than we had hoped after the first round of food was served. Very frustrating to have to wait 30 minutes to get the bill. Definitely worth doing!!!!More infoLa Gruta TeotihuacanPrice: Expensive• Mexican• Teotihuacán•4.5
- MMauraNew York City •44 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 2, 2025Great location and service; the highlights of the ambience are definitely the murals, but the rest is of equal value. Food choices are seasonal which is a great sign of quality, with certain foods available at certain times of the year. We tried the Mixiote meat marinated in pulque and it was excellent. Wines choices were extensive. Quesadillas, salads and salsas were all good. Recommended for an elegant , traditional Mexican dinner - don’t forget to try the mezcals and postres which are delicious!More infoEl Mural de los PoblanosPrice: Very Expensive• Traditional Mexican• Puebla•4.7

The food was awesome, a lot of attention to our table, nearly too much. We loved it and would definitely go back again.More infoLa NoriaPrice: Expensive• Mexican• Puebla•4.7
