- PPhilvipSan Francisco Bay Area •129 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOn a cool and rainy evening in Russian Hill what better oasis than Abrazo. Mike and Israel meet you with a smile and you quickly settle in to the great food , wine and ambiance of this classic neighborhood restaurant. The small plates (Gambas, Chicken and Potato soup, Gem salad and olive bread) are the opener followed by Pork Chop, Chicken and Sole as the mains. Delicious. Wine choices are varied and reasonable. Abrazo is simply a great dining experience.More infoAbrazoPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Russian Hill•4.9

We all raved about every dish that came out. Paolo and his team do a great job!More infoAmarenaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Russian Hill•5
- KKaitieGreater Boston •10 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024Overall, a pretty good dinner. Good seasonal menu items. The prosciutto and persimmon salad was great; the pizza was a bit undercooked but still pretty good; blueberry lemon cake was ordinary but good. A bit on the loud side, but it was busy so that’s expected. Great service as always.More infoFiorella PolkPrice: Moderate• Italian• Russian Hill•4.6
- TTiffanySan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 10, 2024From the moment you walk through the doors, you're met with a beautiful modern room that is perfectly decorated with Japanese flower arrangements. The persimmons hanging down from one of the tables is stunning. Every server seemed to be doing a perfectly choreographed dance, as they moved across each table delivering beverages, different courses, or simply providing new utensils. Definitely an experience that I won't forget. The little bites were small in size but big in flavor. They were all perfectly plated with such attention to detail. My favorite dish, one that the chef wasn't sure about, was the omurice. I joked that I was having a "Ratatouille" moment with that first bite. Being taken back to childhood and just eating a bowl of rice for lunch. Everyone was so knowledgeable and so very friendly. Natalie, our main server was so sweet and such a blast to be around. She even knew the brand of the drinkware!More infoNiseiPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Russian Hill•4.8
