Restaurants near Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary

Have been coming to the Keys for almost 50 years and this is the 1st time my wife & I have tried Latitudes. First a shout out to Alex who was our server. He made our visit very pleasant. The food was awesome from the lobster bisque to the Seared Grouper & Yellowtail Snapper to the Key Lime pie. All those who work for Latitudes were spot on with their responsibilities and made the experience memorable for all the right reasons. Thank you!

We had a very pleasant meal at Bagatelle. Our salad took quite a while to come out, but our entrees were very timely. My husband ordered the swordfish, and I had the grouper special. The grouper was excellent, although I was surprised at the cost when the bill came. The swordfish was good, but a little on the dry side. Portion sizes were very generous. All in all, a very nice meal in a beautiful location.

We try to get to Cafe Marquesa every year during our visit to Key West-this year we were able to dine there TWICE! It was superb in every way, we were able to make reservations for both visits easily and get a time that was convenient for us. The menu options were fabulous and the service is impeccable. We have always felt welcomed by the staff, the dining room is lovely and comfortable. Truly a five star experience from start to finish with everyone in our party(s) leaving the restaurant with rave reviews about every aspect of the dining experience.

If you have a 6pm reservation, get there at 6, not before. Don't unlock doors until then. Leave you outside and bring you in party by party. Could be a mess if raining although a small canopy would give some protection. Service and server were excellent. At first it seemed a bit like getting served at a wedding/banquet because everything starts at the same time. As the evening wore on that feeling subsided. Had a bottle of Quilt knowing it wouldn't be a perfect pairing with everything but it's a wine we really enjoy. We split a grilled Caesar which was excellent. Bypassed the apps because we wanted dessert. Server said house specialties were the yellowtail and the beef stroganoff so we went with them. Not a typical stroganoff in a good way. The meat was very tender. the yellowtail and topping were excellent. Shared the lavender cheesecake for dessert. It did not disappoint. Would return if we get back to Key West and maybe try some appys next time.
