- BBenIndiana •1 review5.0Dined todaySt. Elmo's Steak House is an absolute gem in the heart of Indianapolis, and it has become my go-to destination for an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with an ambiance that perfectly balances elegance and warmth, making it an ideal spot for any special occasion. I recently celebrated my 3-year anniversary at St. Elmo's, and it was nothing short of magical. The staff went above and beyond to make our evening special, from the personalized service to the thoughtful touches that made us feel truly valued as guests. The attention to detail is impeccable, and it's clear that the team at St. Elmo's takes great pride in creating a memorable experience for every diner. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the lamb. I have dined at many steakhouses, but St. Elmo's lamb is in a league of its own. The lamb is cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with a flavor that is simply out of this world. Each bite is a testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs, who have mastered the art of preparing this exquisite dish. The seasoning is spot-on, enhancing the natural richness of the lamb without overpowering it. It's a dish that I find myself craving time and time again, and it's the reason I will always return to St. Elmo's. In addition to the lamb, the menu at St. Elmo's offers a wide array of delectable options, from succulent steaks to fresh seafood, ensuring that there is something for everyone. The sides and appetizers are equally impressive, with the famous shrimp cocktail being a must-try. The wine list is extensive, featuring a curated selection of wines that perfectly complement the menu. The atmosphere at St. Elmo's is both sophisticated and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a romantic dinner, a celebratory meal, or even a casual night out. The decor is classic and timeless, with rich wood accents and soft lighting that create a cozy yet upscale vibe. The service is top-notch, with attentive and knowMore infoSt. Elmo Steak HousePrice: Expensive• Steak• Downtown Indy•4.8
- KKendraIndiana •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe splurge once a year to come here and it never disappoints. It’s not super fancy so we don’t feel out of place, but it’s a very nice place for a special date night. The food and drinks are always delicious. This visit I got the filet which was *chefs kiss* as always, but the brussel sprouts were where the meal really shined. The toasted ravioli appetizer was perfect. My husband loves the shrimp cocktail, with the signature famous cocktail sauce they share with their sister restaurant St. Elmo’s. If you’ve somehow never tried this gem, do yourself a favor and go. Worth every penny.More infoHarry & Izzy's - DowntownPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Downtown Indy•4.7
- KKatieIndiana •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoCake Bake is always a wonderful special experience. Service is outstanding, food is delicious- cake and lunch. I had the chicken velvet soup and it was DIVINE & of course you must get cake! I did have trouble hearing but it didn’t bother me any, and my husbands voice is low. I just know it’s not an inexpensive endeavor (which it shouldn’t be). How fortunate we are to have in my town. Highly recommend!More infoThe Cake Bake Shop - Carmel City CenterPrice: Expensive• American• Carmel / Westfield•4.7
- MMichaelIndiana •14 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFirst timer, but will put into rotation. Started with Shrimp Cocktail which was phenomenal, and the Scallops. Was a little disappointed with scallops as dish came with only 2 very small scallops. Slightly overcooked as well.. Ribeye was great, cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. Added the caramelized onion enhancement which was a great value and great tasting. Finished the evening with the crème brulee. Exceeded expectations.
