More than a Fado Club, Associação do Fado Casto is a Fado Academy.Informality reigns. Pedro de Castro – host and talented guitarist – presents, on the walls of the room, a vast collection of vinyl records that represent the heritage and tradition of Fado.The tables are crowded and the snacks arrive little by little. You can taste dishes that you could eat at a Portuguese home: from bean soup to fish from the vegetable garden, including "pica-pau" with pickles and chorizo roasted on the table. Fantastic intimate venue . Staff superb . Food of a decent variety and quality from a small kitchen . Musicians enjoyed playing and the applause. We had a lovely evening .
