First time coming here. Wonderful service. Ambience is perfect. My husband and I totally loved their brussel sprouts(the char is perfect and the sauce is sublime) and beef tartare (love the cracker underneath the tartare and the flavouring with the egg yolk is amazing). 10/10 King salmon for one of the entrees is also perfect. The fish texture is wonderful, just cooked right. The sauce is the showstopper basically elevating the dish. 10/10 Mushroom risotto- we loved the taste but the consistency is not what we expected from a risotto. Otherwise, flavour is on point. 8/10 Roasted pork belly- my husband rates it at 7/10. He loved the pork belly itself but didn’t feel the puree properly complemented the meat. I would also rate it at 7/10 but mostly because i thought it would be crispier or at least have crispy edges but i do love the puree and the chicharonnes with it. Lastly my husband and I got the salted caramel pot de creme. Loved it. 10/10. Not too sweet. Loved the texture with the vanilla breton on top. My husband also got the Americano to finish, wonderful and superb as he said it. 10/10. Definitely will come back here and try their other dishes. ❤️

Our server Lenny was so friendly and helpful. Both our server and food runner took time to explain every part of the menu, and the aspects to each dish we ordered. My partner and I are certain we’ve had some of the best cocktails and the best sushi at Miku. Quality is their specialty and their service is always impeccable. Especially on a busy night like Valentine’s Day, everything ran smoothly for us and we were provided with a booth for the two of us which made dinner extra special! Thank you to the manager as well for responding quickly via email when I had questions about the set menu! Highly recommend their Aburi set, as it gives you a chance to try a variety of items, and for drinks the bergamot sour is a go to for a sweet yet balanced cocktail!

The best dining by far in Parksville Qualicum Beach area. Other restaurants are more expensive but that does not mean the food is better. Everything on the menu is lovely and not something you could make yourself at home. Service is impeccable, (or at least the young ones are trying hard) and to top it off, the view. Breathtaking. The seafood is great, but I do not like seafood, and this is the only place that has entrees without seafood in it. Great for all tastes and diet preferences.

What a stunning setting We did the winter dining dome experience in one of their igloo tents on the patio overlooking the beach, right at sunset time. It was stunning to watch the sky turn all various shades of pink and orange as the sun was going down from our heated igloo. The server was incredibly sweet and very attentive ! She made sure we were warm enough, and was very good about coming to check on us even though we were outside and it was cold out. The food was good. Not the best we've ever had,but still pretty good. Portion size was pretty small but we are also big eaters. Over all we had a wonderful experience , and would go back again if we're ever in the area.

Had another lovely dinner at Chaster House. Always delicious. We started with a beet salad which was incredible, and then ordered Short Ribs and the beef tenderloin, both delicious. It was concerning that there was only one other couple dining while we were there, and on a Friday night! It was empty! I would hate to lose this gem of a restaurant, but perhaps the higher prices have forced patrons elsewhere.
