We had a great time with great SERVICE steaks were cooked too profession and it was absolutely a must go to in Long Island. I would rather never go to the city again, but enjoy the wonderful culinary creations that the steakhouse had. Thank you for having us. - SStephenOrlando / Central Florida East •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOur servers Kenny and Brianna were excellent. They brought a lot of energy and definitely enhanced the dining experience. They both made recommendations that turned out to be on point. The apps were tremendous, tuna tartare and lobster dumplings. We also had the Halston roll and the Holiday roll which was a special, both were off the charts. Everyone enjoyed their entrees except the bronzing which I was told was dry and an overall swing and a miss. The scampi and ribs were delicious. The PB&J desert was ridiculous.More infoThe HalstonPrice: Expensive• American• Melville•4.4
- GGinaGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe recently dined at The James to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The restaurant’s decor was beautiful—elegant and welcoming, creating the perfect atmosphere for a special occasion. The service was outstanding; the staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly valued as guests. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish prepared to perfection. To make the evening even more memorable, the staff surprised us with a glass of champagne each and a thoughtful birthday card for my husband. It was such a kind and personal touch that truly elevated the experience. Overall, it was an exceptional evening, and I would definitely return. Whether for a celebration or just a nice dinner out, this is a place I would highly recommendMore infoThe JamesPrice: Very Expensive• Continental• Babylon•4.5
- NNicoleNew York City •14 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had a lovely experience. We were seated at a rear table and it felt nice and relaxing. The food was good, we ordered the 4 course menu again. Always love the cheese and the pretzel bread is perfect. I wish they wouldn't skimp on the sauces for the main part and yes, I know you can tell them but it feels annoying to do so. All in all I recommend this place.More infoThe Melting Pot - FarmingdalePrice: Very Expensive• Fondue• East Farmingdale•4.5
