Really enjoyed the restaurant had the shepherds pie special which was 80% delicious potatoes and the rest was very little filling of lamb and peas. The ratio needs to be bigger on the filling but it was tasty. My server Lori was great.

Booked dinner for my mom’s birthday. Bacon wrapped scallops to start were perfectly cooked - scallops can be easily overcooked. At server’s suggestion I split the massive 20 oz rib steak between my mom and I - it was perfectly done medium as ordered. Added scallops and shrimp on my mom’s portion of steak which she enjoyed immensely. Both portions of the steak were plated beautifully. It was an evening enjoyed by all. Topped off with the Billy Miner pie - of course!

Fabulous. Expensive, but the quality of food and the service was well worth it. It is very rare for a Chinese restaurant to have such polite, friendly, attentive, efficient, caring, patient service. In Chinese, the term would equal "gentle", the opposite of "rough" which is lacking in many Chinese restaurants. Chang'an ticked all the right boxes for great food and great service. We loved the duck (pre-order), the smoked fish appetiser, baby back ribs (so tender the meat just fell off the bone), jumbo scallops, egg tofu, and the celery/lily/peach resin. The Pork Belly Sliders were a little disappointing as we were expecting soft buns. These buns are more like the northern style pocket bread buns -- baked rather than steamed. Beware the Szechuan Peppercorn Shaved Beef. Delicious but oh, so very very spicy. Only one person of our group enjoyed it because he can eat super spicy. This is more of a special occasion restaurant as dishes were delivered with a flourish. Not somewhere you'd go to for a quick bite. Highly recommend.

Thank you for making our experience special as we took my sister and her husband to Autostrada for their first time last night. Outstanding! Credit to all of those wonderful Autostrada staff who give their best time and time again! Stephanie Lehr

Had a nice and really affordable meal today, the server seemed to have a bit too much on his hands and could have used some help but other than that everything was excellent.
