Restaurants near Great Lakes Museum

We celebrated our anniversary at Red because I wanted to celebrate at an upscale restaurant. I previously heard good things about the cuisine. We have lived in Cleveland all our lives and never had dinner there. So, I made reservations and let me tell you that our meals were spectacular! Our Filet Mignons were amazing. The Lobster Tail was succulent. We also enjoyed the cocktails we chose from an extensive selection. Highly recommend Red the Steakhouse.

Our experience was amazing! Sean did a great job taking his time with our table and making recommendations off the menu (well beyond just, “I like this” and more the flavor profiles). The food and wine were phenomenal. Highly recommend the succhetti with truffle cream and aged balsamic!!

This is the model for a great seafood restaurant… came here serendipitously two years ago not expecting anything.. was shocked a restaurant this good could be so far from an ocean. Returned today… hoping it was still great. It is. The staff greeted us warmly as if we were well-liked regulars. The atmosphere softly lit, with every table full, yet without feeling over-crowded. The menu just right… all the favorites.. with nice touches and specials… all fresh. Dessert offerings were solid… and maybe that best describes this restaurant… a solid 9 out of 10. It would hold its own in Manhattan, Miami Beach , Boston or LA.

For my first visit, this was truly an amazing experience, the hostess, the atmosphere the food was exceptional! It definitely won’t be my last time and I recommend anyone looking for quality in everything, Morton’s is a MUST!

Christopher took care of us really well. Despite being arguably one of the best steak stops in Cleveland? We went for the seafood tower. Mac n cheese side and a chicken spring roll app. Food was incredible, everyone was attentive and the ambiance was superb. Honourable mention: the bananas foster desert is table made and done so beautifully. 10/10
