Welcome to the Cliff Hotel in Gorleston-On Sea, a hotel and restaurant with unrivalled views of the Norfolk and Suffolk coast. The Cliff Hotel dates back to 1890 when the original hotel was opened, in 1915 the building was ravaged by fire and demolished. The old staff accommodation was renovated into a new hotel, the building that we currently occupy today. We have a vast selection of dining options from our relaxed art-deco inspired MUSE restaurant, our vibrant bar dining area or one of the biggest outside dining terraces in Norfolk. Wherever you decide to eat our menus will give you a huge variety of choice from fresh fish to steaks and grills.     I visited Dune with my father and my grandson for Sunday lunch. We all had a very enjoyable meal. It was good to get extra gravy without having to ask. The portions were good and included several vegetables. My 4 year old grandson was also very well catered for. The staff were all very good. We will certainly visit again.

    This was our first visit to the lodge. We were really impressed. A lovely big restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient. There seemed to be a lot of staff about. The food was excellent. Everything we ordered was very well cooked and they had good sized portions. A really nice place I am sure we will be back.

    Lovely experience. We had the Peter Pan afternoon tea and it was delicious! We also loved the added touch that £1 per afternoon tea is donated to St Ormond Street Hospital! The display was lovely with lots of fun details. We went on Valentine’s Day and it wasn’t too loud or crowded. We were celebrating a birthday and we received a birthday card and a little chocolate treat with a candle in on the arrival of our tray. Staff were polite and attentive. Highly recommend.
