The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor.     We had a wonderful evening celebrating our anniversary. Our waiter, Zak, was outstanding. He is attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant is perfect for special occasions. Highly recommended.

    Nice surprise. Could stand to have a few more main entrees or change the menus every couple of months. They did a really excellent job with the remodel giving it a little more class and getting away from using just the typical bar menu. The place was packed when I first came in at 7PM but quiet and emptying as I was leaving around 8:45PM. This is not unlike most restaurants ever since life opened up post covid. The employees no matter their job were all friendly and accommodating. The piano music was a nice touch and just the right sound level because it could be heard and enjoyed yet not so loud that you could not have a conversation. Could stand having a few more lower price wine choices. Not unlike most restaurants wine is too high priced. I know that because I buy wine for home use. Something is way off when for a bill your 2 glasses of 5 oz wines cost as much as your meal. It is for this reason that my first choice of a restaurants is usually a BYOB. Had a nice time and I will return.
