Merrimans will likely be the best meal you will have on Maui. Everything that we ordered was delicious and even our 3 and 5 year olds devoured their food. The hostess, servers, and entire staff were very friendly and accommodating for our family. There was live music and the performer even did a rendition of Baby Shark in between calming smooth melodies. We had dinner near sunset and the view from our table was beautiful. We were even able to get up to take a picture with an even better point of view. The final check was a little pricey but definitely well worth the scrumptious food, lively and lovely ambiance, with superb service. I would definitely recommend you visit. Our favorite place on Maui!

Wonderful meal. We arrived an hour early for our reservation as we were out exploring in the area and were finished early. The hostess seated us right before sunset. It was a beautiful view. I got the pork shank dish. It was very tender and resting on creamy mashed lot and lots of au jus, heirloom carrots and chopped asparagus. It’s one of the best dishes that I’ve had at a restaurant in a while. My husband was happy with his ribeye steak dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant. Make reservations and request the small balcony tables, for parties of 2, for an unobstructed view of the ocean and sunset.

Once again a lovely early evening/dinner at Duke’s! We’ve never been disappointed here! This trip to Maui I’ve had both the banana leaf fresh fish and the seafood risotto…both were amazing. My husband had the macadamia nut crusted fresh fish…also delicious. Our waiter Luke was attentive, knowledgeable and took great pics for us but never hovering. Without a doubt, we’ll be back next time we’re on Maui. This place has become one of our very favorite places to dine in the island.

Our server Anthony was what made the evening perfect. As we were making selections of both wine, appetizers and entrees he had lots of suggestions and recommendations as we asked questions. We took his recommendations and they turned out to be perfect. So glad we listened to him. He interacted with us in a very casual and pleasant manner and even gave us some great recommendations for hikes in the area when we asked. Can’t end without saying that the view from the restaurant at sunset can’t be beat. We have returned on each visit and will continue to do so! Wonderful evening.

Seriously it was our best meal on the island so far. we had early bird special 2 course for $34. I had maji and my husband had Ono. Salad and the potstickers are awesome. Even the carrot which was grilled with kiave wood was incredible. We are going back this week. Drinks are pricey but you are on the ocean! Also our server was very good. Happy all the way around. 😊
