Just an overall wonderful experience. The owners greeted us and made us feel welcome like family. I had mentioned we had an anniversary and our host had prepared a table for us. It was a charming and romantic table, nestled in to the bar on the second floor.  The service was great, the ambience was great and the food was great. Highly recommended. 

My meal was delicious and my husbands was also, he did say the Grouper was a little salty…might let up on a little of the salt on the Grouper….otherwise it was wonderful it was Valentines so I know the staff was very busy…..

Went for Valentine’s Day and the prefix menu was excellent. Sat is right away, we did not get rushed and the food was prepared perfectly. Will definitely be going back. A must to try.

It was my first time in Savannah, and although a reservation for dinner on Valentine’s Day was unavailable, we were able to get one for the night before in early evening. When we found the table for two to be quite small, we were quickly and pleasantly moved to a table for four. Drinks were the Savannah Peach (smooth and not too strong). Our dinner included French onion soup, grouper, crab cakes, and sides. Dessert (excellent choices) was chocolate mousse cake and the Peach Trio. The entire meal was absolutely delicious. Our server was attentive, accommodating, informative and not at all intrusive. Over all, a wonderful experience for a special, romantic long weekend. Our only regret - we wanted to return for dinner on Saturday evening, but there were no tables available. Next time…

We enjoyed EVERYTHING at Common Restaurant! Our server, Bryan was terrific - friendly and very efficient. We liked every single item on the Chef's tasting menu. The first item was 'bread and butter' - which might sound uneventful but I wish I could have it every day. It was slightly grilled and totally terrific. Following were excellent choices: our favorite was the short rib ravioli. and we preferred the hazelnut dessert choice over the panna cotta. The price was actually a great value! The hostess and bartender were personable and professional (sorry, can't recall their names - we remembered that the bartender had a boyfriend in the service). We had a wonderful evening, and would gladly return!
