Restaurants near Hawison Homestead Park

All aspects of the meal and service exceeded my expectations. My wife and I ordered the petite filets and shared three sides, which arrived exactly as ordered. The food quality falls in a range higher than a restaurant like Firebirds, but just under the very high end steak restaurants. The service was exceptional and responsive. The only minor critique, and this really is not the restaurant's fault, is the layout of the casino allows the noise from the slot machines to easily invade the dining area. Will certainly return in the future.

Our hostess was very sweet/nice. We weren’t comfortable at the first table we were seated at and she was eager to make sure we got sat somewhere else that better suited us. Matt was our server and he did a phenomenal job. One of the better service experiences I have had in a while. I ordered my steak medium and it came out well done. They were quick to correct it and the second steak was fabulous. Thanks for a nice evening!

My husband were at Bistro L'Hermitage for Christmas dinner and, as always, everything was absolutely impeccable. The prix fixe menu had quite a few choices for each course, and, also as always, the food was absolutely superb. And then there is the amazing staff. Everyone, and I mean absolutely everyone, worked as an incredible team. From the hostess to each of the waitstaff, you could see each of them constantly scanning the room, promptly removing empty/finished plates, refilling glasses and bread baskets (and oh, that bread!) so that no one in the room needed to flag down a server. The place was packed when we arrived, and yet we only had to wait a few minutes until we were seated. The timing between courses was perfect and as I mentioned earlier, the food was superb. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention that, being sensitive to loud restaurants, both my husband and I appreciate that even when completely full, this place remains quite quiet. In short, this is one of my and my husband's favorite local restaurants and love to come here for special occasions - birthdays, Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas - or when we feel like being a little indulgent. I don't think it's possible to have a disappointing meal at Bistro L'Hermitage and highly recommend a visit.

We have been to Charbroil before and had better experiences with our previous visits. I'm not saying that the food or service was bad. This time, they just seemed a bit more rushed. The quality of the food was not as good as our previous visits either. Several of the meat choices had more fat and grissel than I thought they should have. The grilled shrimp were good but a bit tougher than they should have been. Might have to give it a bit more time before our next visit.
