Best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had. Grits good. Salad good. Waffles fantastic. Chicken good. Mac and cheese fantastic. Caesar salad good. Caesar salad croutons fantastic. Drink okay.

Yardbird is a fantastic, Southern inspired treat, especially the brunch menu. And it's so convenient to most hotels in the downtown DC area.

Delicious Persian food with plenty of options for small plates and sharing. It would be easy for a vegetarian to eat here. The presentation is attractive and the seasonings are delicate and flavorful. The beautiful wall mural carved out of the old brick wall of whirling Dervishes is a true art piece. My only complaint is how loud it can be at peak times. 

Josh was amazing server- ask for him when you make a reservation (currently there is only one Josh on staff). Food was great, wine list was amazing, try the gin and tonic, have dessert and enjoy your night. If you want a lower cost wine - do the recommend the Chianti wine. Good price point and pairs with anything. Feel free to order something more expensive as the options are endless.
