The restaurant is named after America’s most famous founding father, Benjamin Franklin. While he was pinnacle in America’s birth, he also became the first ambassador to France. While on trips to Paris, he would wine and dine with the best of them and when he returned, he would bring back the French culture, food and wine, and share it with our new nation. Dishes like Potato Lyonnaise and Crème Brulée were the first of his favorites he shared with America. The Benjamin reflects that bridged gap between the two countries’ cultures. It’s a terrific spot with very tasty food, nice vibe, loud but not deafening! Gave only four stars for service because the staff was solid but not exceptional, and the kitchen struggled a bit to keep up with a busy - but not crazy - Friday night crowd.
