Sweet Lula’s Restaurant is a BYOB avant-garde unique Brunch and Dinner romantic cosy dining experience in Pitman, New Jersey. We won an award for our famous sweet potato sausage corn chowder. We are close to Rowan University.We are family owned and operated by executive chef Anthony Asbury (a very famous Puppeteer) he has an Emmy displayed in the restaurant and has worked with Jim Henson and Steven Spielberg. We also play movies which we project onto a large screen which is very unique ! We are a free-flowing scratch kitchen plus veggie, vegan, and gluten-free friendly. Keep your eyes out for Chef Anthony's British wife, Lula (a previous famous pop star and Model in the 80s), she may be singing a few songs on Friday and Saturday nights. We open Thursday to Sunday for Dinner 5pm-9pm and Brunch Saturdays and Sundays 10am-3pm. Come try our food and see what everyone is talking about. Steak and Seafood is our speciality. Our owner Jimmy started Mt Fuji Japanese Sushi & Hibachi Steakhouse back in 2005 as an small sushi restaurant. Since then we've won 2 awards from The Courier Post Readers Choice for one of the Best Sushi and Japanese Cuisine in South Jersey. Fast forward to 2013 we opened our Hibachi Grill section and ever since then it's been the go-to place for people that wants to have fun and watch an performance at the same time. Our menu has three sections one for sushi bar items, the second one for Japanese Cuisine and the third one for the Hibachi Grill. With over 30 years of experience in Japanese Cuisine with his specialty in sushi, Jimmy strives on perfecting the art of sushi making and is always makes sure that the ingredients used are all up to standards before cooking. That is our secret to why we were able to maintain our 4.0 and above reviews from all platforms!We are the only restaurant in Deptford that serves Sushi and have Hibachi performances!
