Sometimes the magic of sharing a table with friends over fabulous food and wonderful wine can be elevated by a place. Canyon Kitchen has that impact. Canyon Kitchen uses local produce and organic selections from our own community gardens and the surrounding area to source our creative Appalachian cuisine. Our multi-course menu is offered a la carte and will change regularly, sometime daily, and is enhanced by an extensive wine list and fresh, seasonal cocktails. A $40 corkage fee will be charged for bottles up to 750ml. We recommend that all parties arrive 30-45 minutes before their reservation to take in our beautiful meadow. Reservations are subject to a $25 per person credit card hold that will only be charged if you cancel within 24 hours of reservation. 20% service charge is added automatically to each check to be distributed amongst our front line staff.     The gorgeous views are part of the draw to Oak Steakhouse, and even though it was a foggy, rainy night, the Oak stood out for service, delicious cocktails and outstanding food. Trevor, our server was attentive and courteous. Don’t skip the bread service!

    Everything was excellent, the staff had very good attention to detail with honestly everything, everything from our cocktails, to appetizers and our entrees to our souffle for dessert...and the rose and chocolate for my wife with the check was a very nice touch to cap off the evening...we will definitely come back during our next trip to the area!

    Great experience! Delicious cocktails. Bartender super accommodating to requests. Waitress was super sweet and helped so much with gluten free suggestions. Definitely the new foodie choice in Highlands!! We will be back!!

    The steak was ordered medium and came very well done and sliced too—no way to miss that burnt steak that I couldn’t eat. The margarita was good! Salad was good. Brussels sprouts appetizer didn’t make it before dinner arrived so we canceled those. Service—the 2-3 ladies working were doing it all the best they could. Very nice and pleasant/professional but WAY overworked to the point of poor service. They just couldn’t keep up with it all—understandable.
