Restaurants near High Island Station

The food was fantastic—really fresh and an overall great experience. However, I wish they hadn’t begun cleaning and closing the restaurant two hours before closing time. It made us feel rushed during our meal, especially when they started sweeping under our tables. Despite this minor inconvenience, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely be returning.

Excellent food and service, we celebrated my husband’s birthday and it was perfect

One of my favorite places any where I have been. The food sets this place apart. Close you eyes and pick something on the menu. You'll never be disappointed. Every time I am in Galveston it is a must visit.

We really enjoyed this place with friends. The food was very good and the service was outstanding. We appreciate that Paco is always present in his restaurants. This was our first time here but we have been to Vargas a few times. We will return to Rudy and Paco again. Their crab bisque was wonderful.

Food wonderfully done and excellent service although a bit formal (waiter puts your napkin in your lap for you as if he thinks you don’t know to do that without help). Noise level was a little high because there were several very large tables celebrating the holidays. On non holiday weekends it would be a lovely, romantic restaurant.
