Skull Creek Dockside Restaurant, dropped its anchor in the Fall of 2017 and forever changed the culinary landscape of the Lowcountry. In early 2017 the partners of the restaurant began to transform it into their vision for Hilton Head's newest waterfront dining destination. This restaurant, which resembles an old-style river house, is full of authentic architecture, reclaimed wood, and nautical accents that leave you feeling like you've stepped into a Melville novel. The sweeping waterfront view is showcased by full pane glass windows throughout the restaurant which you can enjoy no matter where you dine. The covered patio dining area, and massive outdoor bar, the shark bar, allows patrons to enjoy the Lowcountry climate and serve to further highlight the amazing sunset views over skull creek. If you are concerned about long wait times, the good news is the restaurant accepts reservations and provides a family recreation area between dockside and boathouse. Kids and adults can enjoy a variety of games, the very popular shark bar and 'shrimp boat' playground. Kids can play while families are waiting for a table, or simply enjoying the amazing waterfront views.

Together they take great pride in making each plate transport you to the Greek Isles or the banks of the Mediterranean Sea where some of the finest cuisine is served. You will find no precooked items and we do not use microwaves or steam tables to heat or store food. River House does have a dressy casual dress code consisting of no shorts, flip flops, baseball hats or tank tops in the dining room for the gentlemen. Comparable attire for the ladies. Children under 16 are exempt. We do offer complimentary pants to guests that may need them. River House corkage policy is a maximum of 3 bottles per reservation without management consent at $35 per bottle. River House has a 24-hour cancellation and No-Show Policy consisting of $25 per person plus a 18% SVC Charge. In the South, there’s an intimate connection between the table and the land. Our fertile soil feeds corn and cattle. The palmettos provide cover for quail and game. And the ocean provides its bounty with the incoming tide.     First visit to Nectar and we'll be back. Attentive and pleasant serve staff. Thanksgiving menu was robust with a traditional dish of turkey, gravy and stuffing. The food was excellent. A couple managers stopped by to ensure our experience was outstanding. Appreciate this establishment being open while most others weren't. Laid back atmosphere which we like!

    It was a great dinner as always for Thanksgiving with friends. Only complaints - kept asking the server for more water, and she finally gave me more the 3rd time. Also, when the guy brought our desserts he wouldn’t take our main course plates. There was no room for all of this at our table so we put them at another table. Eventually someone came to get them. We told our server, and she didn’t seem to care.

    Always a wonderful experience at the Pearl. Food is outstanding - always. Consistency is key - You will ALWAYS get a great meal here, regardless Of what you order. We tend to side More on the seafood side but the meats looks delish too. Highly recommend. We are So fortunate to have this place in our neighborhood / greater Bluffton area. Additionally - gluten free friends, run, dont walk to the Pearl - they get it!!

    This was my first time at The Bluffton Room and won’t be the last. Everything from the bread and butter, salad and meal was superb and had lots of flavor. I had the lamb special and it was so tender and delicious. The service was very good as well. Definitely recommend!
