- LLydiaCalifornia Central Coast •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWhile visiting Miami with my husband and daughter, I wanted to show them this building which was once a cool but rundown apartment building known as the Amsterdam in the 1980s, when I lived there - before Gianni Versace bought it and turned it into his home. It took me back in time as the entry and lobby is still very much the same, and the walkway to the dining area, which was approx where the door to apt 106 once was. Being there brought back some great memories. The dining area was once another building which GV knocked down to make room for his patio and pool, behind which stands a beautiful, somewhat ostentatious, mosaic tiled wall which fortunately did not cross the line into gaudiness.More infoGianni's at the Former Versace MansionPrice: Expensive• Italian• South Beach•4.5
- MmichelleVIPMiami - Dade •34 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe were four people celebrating my birthday. My waiter was Maykel and he was fantastic. Everyone who works there has a great attitude, all willing to help the other, which is very unusual for a restaurant like this. It was a pleasant surprise and made my birthday super special. The food is meticulously done in such nice taste. Everything has a beautiful presentation. This is not the restaurant where you come starving because the portions are small but delicious. Every bite is an explosion of taste in your mouth. We ordered 12 different appetizers all amazing. The most impressive thing about this restaurant was the service and the energy inside. It’s just a great ambience. There was a fire dancer. The mood is fun. Thank you so much for making my birthday special.More infoCASA NEOSPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Downtown Miami•4.5
- HHeidiMiami - Dade •5 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 13, 2024From the moment you enter and see the funky, eclectic decor, you know that you're in a welcoming space. You'll be warmly greeted and seated. The menu offers enough plates to allow for a variety of palates, but few enough that allow them to be perfected. The homemade pasta dishes are always an excellent choice, the salads are fresh and the panini are lovely. If you love eggplant parmigiani, you're in luck. And the dessert menu is divine!More infoSoya & PomodoroPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown Miami•4.4
