The experience was phenomenal. The steak was amazing, with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Of course, the chopped salad was my favorite course. It is amazing. And the empanada. And then the desserts, a choice between lemon-blueberry cake (oh my! Moist cake, perfect combination of blueberries and lemon. Wow!) or caramel cheesecake (what a star. The caramel shell and incredible cheesecake.) I love restaurant week!!!

The ambience was amazing, it felt like New York or San Francisco! The service was excellent, all staff were very intuitive. We both had the filet which would have been wonderful if it had not had an overly salty au jus. We were there for restaurant week and the server advised us that the sauce was something the chef did especially for restaurant week and would not be on a normal steak order. Our meal would have been absolutely perfect if the chef had just not tried so hard! The filet could have stood on its own merits. It was cooked to perfection. The brussel sprouts side dish is fantastic. This is a definite “special occasion” place, pricy but well worth it.

We thought the restaurant was very nice. It was very busy and took a little longer getting our food, but that was to be expected. The complaint were the steaks were not that good. Mine was so tough and rare I couldn’t eat it. My father’s was too well done. We all ordered medium.
