Whanever we plan a trip to College Station, it MUST include reservations to the Republic? It is outstanding in every way. Attention to detail is what makes it special. The owner, Wade, designed every aspect of the beautifully unique space to create the exact ambience he had desired. He selected every piece of lighting, furniture, hardware and picture with intent. Take time to soak it in. The expectation is that every drink, every bite, and every encounter with a team member will be superb. And it will be. I ordered one of the featured cocktails and was told that if I didn’t care for it, the server would bring me a different one. The “Smoking Jacket” was very nice. The food is consistently excellent. The desserts are creative and delicious. We leave always looking forward to our next trip to town, largely because of our dinners at The Republic.

I am new to the B/CS area but have visited numerous times. Wanting to have a place to dine that have not been to previously. Casa Mangiare was on my list. Truly grateful that I along with my dining party that it was chosen. Everything was wonderful. Our waiter was exceptional. Promise to return.

Really enjoyed my date night with my husband. Wanted to try something different and The Dean was everything we were looking for. It was a nice scenery with the skylight in the evening. The employees were really friendly and made excellent suggestions as we did not know what to get. We ended up getting the Roasted Beef Bone Marrow for an appetizer and it was soooooo good. We ordered some after our meal to take home as well. For our main meal my husband got the Scallop Bucatini and i got the Lamb Chops. Both were very good and a decent size as well. While we were eating we both had a glass of wine. The Deans wine list is so long but the bartenders were really helpful and knowledgeable about what to get. After we finished eating we sat in the lounge area and talked for a little. I had one of their specialty drinks called the Mary Shell or shelly but it was good and my husband had the Dean’s Old Fashioned. This is a very smooth yet strong drink. Defiantly a must get when we come back.

View was amazing. More bar food than dinner, but it was good. Service was great.
