Restaurants near Hotel Posada Guadalajara

Dined to celebrate a birthday and it was wonderful. We arrived 30 minuted before our reservation and were immediately sat. We left in awe with the attention to detail shown by the staff. The servers truly were gentlemen and never let me touch my chair. It was truly a chivalrous gesture. The restaurant’s interior design makes you feel like you’re in someplace really special. We ordered a round of cocktails and 5 dishes. We were impressed with the presentation of the cocktails. They all came in unique glassware. It was a nice detail. We ordered the beets with jocoque, ribs, caesar salad, fries, and corn bread as dessert. The beets and ribs were very delicious by far exceeded our expectations. My only doubt was the caesar salad. The taste of the dressing felt a little off. The citrus in the dressing had fallen bitter and the lettuce was wilted when it came to our table. Other than that, I felt the price and experience were fair. The dessert we ordered came with a nice little fire-show, which was perfect for our birthday celebration. Will definitely be coming back to dine when I’m in Guadalajara again.

I dined last night and was very pleased . The chorizo was tender,juicy and perfectly cooked. The ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium rare as ordered and tender and juicy. Service by Cesar was exceptional and professional. As a woman dining alone the service in Guadalajara tends to be disinterested at best,even in higher end restaurants that . Not the case here. Cesar was professional and attentive throughout. I will definitely be back.
