It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation.     Great service. Excellent food. I went all in for French onion. French onion soup and French onion burger with fries. Both were outstanding. In fact, the fries were the second best fries I've ever had. The best fries in the world are made by Thrashers in Ocean City, Maryland and Rehoboth, Delaware. But the fries at Linwoods are a close second.

    Front of the House - Patti was fantastic. Wonderful greeting. Makes you want to come back. Genuine, professional and does honor to the Atlas Restaurant Group brand. Wait Staff - new to me. Helpful. On her game. Observant. Meal - Maryland Crab Soup with oyster crackers and Shrimp cocktail. Seasoned. Tasty. Perfect lunch time meal. Booth - 44 requires new cushion and covering. Material is worn and does not reflect well on the Brand. Kitchen - one wonderful meal at a time. Maryland flag has aged a warrant’s replacement. Management - Professional and they circulate around the Dining Room - makes a difference. Gift cards - very nice program with $ 25 for every $ 150 purchased. great gifts.

    Was seated right away even tho I was early and part of my party wasn’t there. Great service. Greeted promptly. Everyone was friendly. Atmosphere was relaxed, inviting. This is our second time going for Christmas Eve and will definitely be back to be able to sit outside in the warmer months. Food was delicious and inventive. Loved the hand crafted drinks. All in all a great experience.
