- SSamanthaEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review4.0Dined 5 days agoWe went for the steak frites deal which is available between 4pm-6pm. Steak was delicious and we were happy with the value, although of course you get a little less steak than if you were ordering the normal menu. The service was really stand out- I don’t know how they recruit but everyone was brilliant. They had personality, were so happy and attentive and made the night really fun. My only complaint? We were a bit cold! It’s in a very old building and partly it’s the nature of it but when we went along to Brewdog after they said they often get folk who comment that. Wouldn’t put me off- I’d just wear an extra layer next time! I’d highly recommend a visit.More infoChop House Market StreetPrice: Expensive• Steak• Edinburgh•4.1
- JJoEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoI love this restaurant. It has a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. It feels bright, spacious and welcoming when you go in. The food is excellent. Today I had the Hoots Mon Benny, which was absolutely delicious. The best Eggs Benedict I've ever had. Prices are very reasonable. There was a good choice of gluten free options for my husband too. The only thing I would mention as a slight minus is that the restaurant has a "dog friendly" policy, which is becoming increasingly common in all sorts of places now. This doesn't take account of people with a fear of dogs, and those who simply think dogs don't belong in food establishments.More infoLoudons New WaverleyPrice: Moderate• Breakfast• Edinburgh•4.5
- AALBERTOEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024My partner and I visited The Black Grape on Christmas Eve and had the pleasure of trying their festive menu. It was an unforgettable experience! The attention was absolutely wonderful; the staff was incredibly kind and attentive at all times, creating a warm and welcoming holiday atmosphere. Coming from Spain, we were excited to try something new, and the festive menu exceeded all our expectations. Every dish was a delightful surprise, full of unique flavors that were completely different from what we're used to back home. Each bite was crafted with care and truly captured the spirit of the season. If you're looking for excellent food and top-notch service, especially during the holidays, The Black Grape is the place to go. Highly recommended!More infoThe Black GrapePrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• The Royal Mile•4.8
