- CCathyVIPNew York City •109 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoSophie's is a true neighborhood gem! Four of us dined last night and we all enjoyed our evening. The atmosphere inside Sophies is charming and cozy. We all started with a cocktail and they bring out hot bread and fresh butter in a little ceramic cup. I love when the bread is pipping hot! We then all had salads for our 1st course. Two had the smoked salmon salad and two the beet and endive salad. All were delicious and very ample. For entrees, two had the salmon in a mustard sauce and two the Seafood Vol au vent , which is seafood in puff pastry shell. It consists of good size Salmon chunks, shrimp and scallops , beautifully presented in a cream sauce. It was delicious! I don't even like salmon and I felt it was extremely tasty! The two that had the salmon filets also loved their dish. The portions are more than adequate!! For dessert we all split the warm chocolate cake. It basically is a molten chocolate cake which is rich and delicious!!!! We practically liked the plate clean. Service was attentive but not obtrusive. I would definitely recommend Sophie's Bistro!!!!More infoSophie's BistroPrice: Expensive• French• New Brunswick•4.7
- BBarbaraVIPNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024We picked Graziella's on a whim--just looking for a spot with availability last Friday. And wow--was this a good move. I think Graziella's might be a new favorite. The staff was completely on point in giving an upscale but comfortable experience. From the manager (I think?) who checked us in to the server and different food runners, everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Don't skip the bread, it's worth the carbs. My husband really enjoyed the chicken rollatini. I had the canelloni, which was absolutely superb. That's not a word I use very often, but when it is absolutely true when it comes to the canelloni. I brought half of it home and it was even delicious reheated. I tend not to eat very much at one sitting, but the food was so good, I wish I could have eaten more! We will definitely be back.More infoCafe GraziellaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Hillsborough•4.8
