Restaurants near BFI IMAX

Great location but very busy. Our meals did not all arrive together and asked twice where it had got to. Didn’t notice when ordering child’s fish the chips were an option so ordered them separately. Took time to arrive by which time the fish was eaten and the chips were not very warm. Stir fry duck and chicken skewer tasty but chicken and flat bread were dry. Staff were very helpful when asked

Service very professional. Prawn starter lovely. Both main courses excellent. Beef bourguignon and chicken. As was desert, chocolate brownie. I had an expresso martini which I asked to be decaf and they kindly agreed. We have passed the archduke many times over the last 20 years and never been in before. Usually we need to dine before a show so the location doesn’t suit us as we need to be in theatre land. However, we had seen a matinee so decided to stop here before getting our train. Very pleased we did and we will eat here again when the opportunity arises.

On my recent visit , to celebrate a friends birthday it was low-key and ideal. The service was perfect not too intrusive, the food was great from the main menu to a set menu section with choices for every palate . The even surprised with a small birthday dessert for the birthday girl a very nice touch :) The chicken from the set menu was perfect, and the salmon tefreshing . Places by the window we were able to view the activity along the southbank Worth a visit ... Will be back

Great evening to celebrate husbands birthday We were given a booth which was nice we could take and be heard The food was amazing and servers were happy and chatty Drinks refreshing and reasonably priced We had the cote de beof which was cooked to our requirements and cut at the table for us Definately be back and would recommend

Enjoyed my food but did find the soup salty and the herb gnocchi a little unusual in flavour.. Not sure if would order again. Waitresses were interesting, one slightly stressed serving.. Who then forgot to bring me cutlery for my main course and the lady looking after us was a little too keen to get us out the door which is a shame as we were paying customers and no one said anything re a time limit on our table. Sad to say my experience overall was not great..
