Food is great. But its not exceptional. However the service ambience and the staff will outshine everything else.

Had a wonderful dinner here for our anniversary. The food was delicious, so well balanced, and so many layers of flavors and textures. Service was attentive, informative, and understated. There was more food than anticipated for the six course tasting menu. We did not leave hungry! Will be back for sure.

Le Bistro has been our favorite Tahoe restaurant for 25 years. We just celebrated our wedding anniversary there, and had yet another fantastic dinner. We were greeted quickly, taken to a quiet booth, and received great friendly service throughout the evening. Our food was outstanding, starting with the Napolean of Ahi with wonderful flavors and textures, followed by very flavorful soups, incredibly tender steaks cooked to perfection, and the not-to-be-missed dessert plate with portions of four different desserts. Extra touches like tasty starter bites, homemade bread, and crispy and airy soufflé potatoes were included. Every aspect of our experience was top-notch. Thank you to the entire Le Bistro team for making our anniversary so enjoyable and memorable!

The baked Brie with mushrooms was amazing and so were the crab cakes! Everything we had was delicious but definitely loved these two dishes the best. It’s a pretty small place and was a little noisy but food was delicious so we didn’t mind the noise too much. Will definitely go back again!

The hostess was less than friendly she may need to rethink this job for her! Server was better. I ordered chicken fried steak and my husband got the chicken sandwich. We both shared a side Cesar salad. Food was delicious.
