Let me begin with our waiter Jack. This young man was pleasant, attentive and had a warm spirit. Jack made dining fun and exciting. If you ever go to yard bird ask for jack. The manager Sophia, was checking on every table to ensure service was top tier. If you in the magnificent mile area in Chicago please stop by this establishment you will not be disappointed.

What a pleasure it is to have an experienced, mature wait staff that knows the menu and is constantly reading the room for what guests may need and when. Several people around us were celebrating special occasions (including us) whose meals were capped by a beautiful message in chocolate on a dessert plate of chocolate brownie with a candle. Every dish we had was special (other than the Veal Milanese, which had a dijon base that I didn't love.). The room is buzzy, cozy, handsome. A special note: the restaurant is closing for two weeks which left them without a couple of dishes on the menu. Guests who couldn't order what they wanted were treated very thoughtfully by the wait staff and management. Deft handling of an awkward situation.

My husband and I decided to grab lunch on Valentine's Day without our kiddos. It was a lovely experience and we are still talking about the food. Because I had to go back to work I didn't want super large portions so we opted for the pre-fix lunch menu for 42.95. We got the crab bisque, spinach stuffed mushrooms, steak bordelaise and the havana dream pie (an amazing tres leches version of cake and cream). We can't stop talking about the spinach stuffed mushrooms and the after taste of that and the crab bisque. It was so buttery and both were an awesome start to our lunch. The steak was cooked to perfection. Melted in your mouth and the perfect amount of seasoning. Just when we thought we were done, we forgot about dessert, the Havana pie (cake) was AMAZING, light and fluffy, creamy and the perfect amount of sweetness. We left extremely satisfied. Our waiter had an amazing personality and so did the host who checked us in. Overall great experience. We will be back

Planned a Galentine/Friend dinner here on Feb 13th. It was such a great experience. The food was phenomenal and had a variety of options for all tastebuds. One friend who is known for being a particular critic of food enjoyed EVERYTHING even the lemonade. The drinks were delicious and the green tea shots were amazing. Overall a wonderful place. The only con would be that the Ubers have a hard time locating the restaurant so drop off and pickup was rough but hey that’s not in you alls control. Thanks for a great first time experience for us!

From making the reservation easy, I had to make adjustments, and they contacted me to help/confirm my reservation.lets talk about THE GREETING as we entered. We were greeted with 😊 the ambiance was so PREFECT FROM THE DECOR TO THE CLASSIC MUSIC. WE WERE SITTED TO OUR TABLE... THE MINUTE WE SAT AND OUR SERVER JASMINE CAME OVER INTRODUCED HERSELF IT WAS MAGICAL FROM THERE.HER PROFESSIONALISM HER KNOWLEDGE OF KNOWING THE MENU MAKE IT SO EASY OF HER TO MSKE SUGGESTION. AS I SAID SHE WAS THE CHERRY 🍒 ON THE CAKE. THE FOOD WAS TOP TIER WE HAD STEAK , OYSTER LOBSTER. THE CREW WAS SO HELPFUL AND WAS ABLE TO ASSIST JASMINE IN SHARING OUR SIDES, SO WE ALL GOT A TASTE OF WHAT EACH OTHER ORDER THEY HAD US FEELING/WALKING OUT LIKE CELEBRITIES 😆 🤣....AGAIN OUR EXPERIENCE FROM BOOKING TO WALKING OUT THERE WILL HAVE US TALKING FOR YEARS....WE WERE CELEBRATING BDAY N GRADUATES OF THE NAVY BOOTCAMP AGAIN THEY MAKE SURE THEY FELT APPRECIATE.
