Restaurants near ITH Adventure Hostel San Diego

Just moved to the neighborhood and we have been here 3 times. The atmosphere in the side patio is really nice especially if you get the firepit table. Service was great! Now to the food, the misto frito was so good with fish, shrimp, and calamari all in a crunchy batter with so much flavor. My fav is the tortelacci di carne with a marsala mushroom cream sauce that makes you want to lick the plate. We also had the rucoleta salad which was good and a lobster bisque that I would definitely get again. The ribeye was a little over cooked but still juciey and tender. The desserts where ok we had the tiramisu and a chocolate cake.

This was our first time here! Amazing service, amazing food, decent pricing. Fun place!! We had the meatballs and garlic bread for appetizer’s. After having that I knew the rest would delicious and I wasn’t wrong! The short rib lasagna was amazing! Portions are big! You will not leave hungry.

Food and service were great, We really wanted to see cheese wheel pasta bar but windows were draped shut… disappointed

Had an early lunch reservation for my birthday, seated on arrival. Given a cute birthday menu. Ordered a very strong & delicious Mai Tai, cup of chowder, and lobster rolls with fries. The chowder was very good, just thick enough and great flavor. The biscuit served with the chowed was still warm when it was served. The lobster roll was delicious, but the amount of lobster in the roll was skimpy compared to our previous visits to Ironside. Our server surprised me with a complimentary dessert to celebrate my birthday. My husband said he got a call prior to our reservation asking whose birthday it was and if they had any allergies. Thoughtful. Staff from the host to servers were all very welcoming.
