Restaurants near Jacksonville Transportation Authority

My wife and I had reservations at 7:15, we were greeted at the door front desk. Acknowledge us said there was a little bit of a wait so I decided that I would go get a couple of drinks at the bar and I was told it was at capacity I explained to them that I was not going to sit at the bar. I was just grabbing two drinks and coming back so I went to the bar and the bartender had a beard looks at me and says we’re at full capacity. I explained to the gentleman the same scenario rolled his eyes and walked off. My wife approached me in a young lady Walked up behind her and said that we’re at full capacity at the bar so this is three people telling me this. It was two other gentleman standing about 5 foot away that we’re frustrated also. Another bartender came around the corner and took my order. Very nice young man. To be honest with you. I was my first experience there. I don’t know if I would go back. The food was fantastic. Our server John was absolutely amazing. I just did not feel comfortable to be honest with you.

Great time. Great view. Great food. Waiter was very friendly. Food was a little slow in coming out.

Our experience dining at  Ruth Chris is always a wonderful one. Upon arriving, we were greeted and seated by the friendly hostess. I had asked for a corner table by the window, so we could see the fabulous view of the bridge at night. Of course Ruth Chris accommodated us! Our waiter was amazing. He answered all our questions and went above and beyond for us. The young woman who helped serve at our table was also amazing. Both of them went above and beyond for us. The manager paid us a visit twice to ask if we needed anything. When our dinner arrived, our steak was cooked perfectly. The staff really made my husband‘s birthday a special one. Reasons like this are why we continue to dine at Ruth Chris several times a year. We enjoy it so much!

First time at the restaurant and it was great. We went to the nutcracker after dinner and the dinner set the night up perfectly. The food is outstanding and the wait staff was excellent. I believe her name is Liz, I apologize if that is incorrect but she was great and was considerate of our time needing to get to the show. Thanks to the whole crew.

The food was great and our server was fantastic! The only negative was with how we were seated. We arrived 10 minutes early for a reservation and were told that the table was not ready and that we could sit at the bar or in the velvet room. This is fine, as long as the host informs us as soon as the table is ready and we are able to transfer any drinks ordered to our final check. The host did not inform us when the table was ready and the restaurant required the drinks ordered in the velvet room to be paid separately from our final check. Not a big deal but this disrupts the experience a bit when one has to wait for a table but would like to scan the menu and order a drink to start.
