The bar service was great. We arrived an hour early and sat at the bar to drink and have an appetizer. Appetizers were flatbread and meatballs! Both were excellent. When we were seated our waiter was okay at best. Don’t know if he was just having an off night but we could sense he just didn’t want to be there. When we were closing the ticket out we considered having another drink and he said well it would make my night easier if you didn’t! For dinner we ordered Steak, Lamb and Lobster between 4 of us. Steak was charred and over cooked & lobster was way over cooked! The lamb was good. We weren’t told they were out of broccoli so everyone’s plates just came with green beans. We asked the waiter and he said they were out of broccoli. Even though it was a mix up, the green beans were the best part of the meals! I think this night was just an off night because normally we’ve had good service and food!

Grand Street Cafe has a level of food quality that is top tier! I've been a customer for over a decade and I've never had a bad food experience! This was a belated Valentines Day dinner and it didn't disappoint! Everything from my appetizer, salad, and main course was excellent! As an added value the cost was very affordable especially for the quality of the meal! I will most definitely be back!

We had a lovely evening celebrating our son’s birthday. The food, the wine and the experience was excellent. They even brought our son a complementary sweet treat after they asked if we were celebrating anything.

Always an incredible dining experience. You cannot go wrong with a steak here. Delmonico was delicious. The Australian Wagyu filet was so tender. Only thing not what I was hoping: triple fried fries. Was hoping for a crunch and crispy but they were more single fried fries.

Whenever my drink glasses are allowed to become empty, and waiter is nowhere in sight, and other waiters offer to refill glasses, it's a problem. I always the emember the original owners of Strouds saying glasses can never be empty. It is still the case today. It's the little things like this that make a great waiter. Capital Grill also comes to mind
