Restaurants near Kalua Motel

Visitors from NSW- Barrel and Vine was recommended to us by a local. First impressions were excellent- Service was high level and the food was OMG out of this world. Garlic butter bug's for starters were the best tasting dish I'd ever tasted followed by Coral Trout which left your taste buds having an out of this world experience and Butter garlic bread was accompanied perfectly. The flavours which were perfectly matched to the freshest of fresh seafood enhanced our whole experience. Thankyou to the beautiful staff and especially Chef for allowing us to experience such a world class restaurant in Hervey Bay ❤️

The food here is simply amazing. We love it! There is great care and thought put into flavours. Service is great and attentive. As with many restaurants it can be very noisy inside when it’s busy.

Asked for an outdoor setting (undercover) because of the weather. Our ‘undercover’ was right on the edge, so when it started raining we had to quickly pack up and make a break for it, or we would have got soaked! Shame as the food was good and I would have loved to have stayed for a few more drinks!
