Restaurants near Keowee Toxaway State Natural Area

The gorgeous views are part of the draw to Oak Steakhouse, and even though it was a foggy, rainy night, the Oak stood out for service, delicious cocktails and outstanding food. Trevor, our server was attentive and courteous. Don’t skip the bread service!

The GM Danny was very accommodating & professional to assist us with finding the perfect table. Austin our waiter was attentive & knowledgeable. The chicken special was a local fav and the grouper was cooked perfect. The hollandaise sauce was outstanding. The signature cocktails are definitely worth a try… That was our 1st visit to Blue Heron and we already plan to return next week. 5-stars 🌟. 

We went for Valentine’s dinner. We tried for days to get a reservation and finally there was a cancellation. All the waitstaff were very attentive but especially Mae. A lovely experience. The only negative was not enough light for me as I am visually impaired.

Everything was excellent, the staff had very good attention to detail with honestly everything, everything from our cocktails, to appetizers and our entrees to our souffle for dessert...and the rose and chocolate for my wife with the check was a very nice touch to cap off the evening...we will definitely come back during our next trip to the area!
